Geography:
The Kingdom of Swaziland, the smallest country in Africa, is bordered by Mozambique to the northeast and by South Africa to the southeast, south, west and north.
It is traversed by many streams and rivers, making it one of the best watered areas in southern Africa.
Language: Siswati and English are the official languages of Swaziland.
Currency:
Lilangeni (singular) or Emalangeni (plural) and cents is the currency of Swaziland. 100 cents = 1 Lilangeni. Swaziland is part of the Rand monetary area, and the lilangeni is of equal value to the South African Rands and cents and both currencies are in circulation.
Religion: Approximately 80% Christian
Government: King Mswati III is the sovereign head of the Kingdom of Swaziland. The country is administered by the Prime Minister and Cabinet through an elected Parliament.
Flag: The colours of the flag of Swaziland are red, blue and yellow, each having a meaning. Red standing for the battles of the past, blue standing for peace and stability, and yellow standing for the resources. In the center of the flag are a shield and spear. These two symbolise the protection of Swaziland from its enemies. The colour of the shield (black and white) symbolises black and white people living together peacefully in Swaziland.
